Delaware County Senior Council
The Delaware County Senior Council is a Group of Senior, Volunteer Delegates Representing the Senior Citizen Clubs of Delaware County. In Addition, any Senior can Become an Individual Member.
The Senior Council
- Organizes Fundraising Events for Special Projects
- Offers Assistance to the Individual Senior Clubs in many Communities
- Distributes Bulletins on Key Changes in Senior Legislation and Health Care Issues to Help Seniors Understand and make Good Decisions
- Works Closely with the Delaware County Office for the Aging (OFA)
- Serves as a Conduit Between Senior Clubs Functions and Share Ideas

Alzheimer's Association
The Alzheimer's Association is a Non-Profit Voluntary Organization Dedicated to Family Support, Education, Research, and Advocacy. The Alzheimer's Association of Northeastern New York Began in 1982 as the Capital District Chapter, and Today has Expanded to Service 17 Counties in the Upstate New York Region. In Addition to the Albany Administrative Office, the NENY Alzheimer's Association Provides Service Through its Cooperstown Office at the Former Meadows, a Point of Service at O' Conner Hospital in Delhi, Point of Service at the Schoharie County Office for the Aging, and Five Points of Service Throughout the Adirondack Region.
